Documents required from the foreign personnel
• Power of attorney (For 9ekim to represent you in the Ministry)
• Foreign Personnel Application Form (4 copies, with the photo taken in the last 6 months) (to be filled in electronic media, printed and then signed by the employer and employee and sent to the Ministry as a copy by hand. If there is not original signatures of the employer and the employee, work contract made between two parties is to be submitted. Otherwise, the application is not put into process),
• Residence permit with the purpose of working which cover the time period of work permit (To be scanned and sent online during electronic application)
• Previous work permit and cover letter (To be scanned and sent online during electronic application)
• Copy of passport, Turkish translation of which is approved by certified translator and notary, including the visas and validity period (To be scanned and sent online during electronic application)
• For foreigners to work as an engineer, architect or city planner, temporary membership certificate which should be obtained as per the article 36 of the Law of Turkish Union of Chambers of Engineers and Architects numbered 6235. (To be scanned and sent online during electronic application)
• In the case of a change in the duty of the foreigner who work in private education institutions subject to Ministry of National Education, letter (prior authorisation) to indicate competence of the foreigner from Ministry of National Education (To be scanned and sent online during electronic application)
Documents required from the institution to employ foreign personnel
• Application petition for work permit (To be scanned and sent online during electronic application, also by hand)
• New dated letter from tax offices to indicate that the business does not have tax debt (This information is to be accessed online from the records of Finance Ministry)
• Letter which indicates that social security liabilities concerning the business and the foreigner are met debt (This information is to be accessed online from the records of Social Security Institution (SGK) by the Ministry)
• Payroll of the last month (wed stamped and signed by the employer and financial consultant, approved by SSK (Social Insurance Institution) )
• Balance sheet and statement of profit-loss of the last year approved by certified public accountant or tax office. Excluding the companies which has special accounting period, for the applications made after the 1st of April every year, balance sheet and statement of profit-loss of the last year will be submitted.
• Turkish Trade Registry Gazzette which indicate the structure of partnership and capital of the institution in case of any change in the company structure (To be scanned and sent online during electronic application)
• Letter of attorney of the person, who has the authority to make electronic application with the role of user in the name of institution to employ foreign personnel, approved by the notary or letter to indicate that user works in the applicant institution. (To be scanned and sent online during electronic application,)
Change of Address: If the address, in which the foreign personnel is to work, changes, in the attachment of request petition for change of address submitted by the employer or the foreigner:
a) Notary approved copy of the relevant pages of residence permit, in which address and title information of business, of the last work permit which is still valid,
b) Turkish Trade Registry Gazette or its certified copy by the institution, which indicates the old and new addresses of the company
Additional Documents for Application
1. If the foreigner is key personnel or representative of a partner, letter certified by competent authorities and given from the employer,
2. Copy of citizenship identity card,
3. For foreigners who are married to a Turkish citizen, certificate of identity register copy,
4. For foreigners who are married to a Turkish citizen, copy of marriage certificate approved by notary,
5. Document which indicates that he/she is of Turkish origin,
6. Copies of certificates and diplomas for vocational education,
7. Other documents such as reference letters, assignment letter and acceptance letter
